Aimee Hill
When Aimee was a child, she had the desire to become a foster parent, and after working with many foster families and children who are in foster care, she became licensed, and her first placement arrived in 2015.
She first learned about Foster Village in 2018, and Foster Village has provided resources for every child who has entered her home since then! She loves the vision of Foster Village and the support that has continually been provided not only to her and her children, but to the biological families of the children in her care who have been reunified too.
Aimee graduated in 2007 from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in social work. She has worked in child welfare as a case manager and most recently as a case management supervisor with a child-placing agency. Aimee is a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) and a Licensed Child-Placing Agency Administrator.
She grew up in Round Rock, Texas, and officially relocated to the South Austin area in 2012. She has two daughters, Ashlyn and Jalaya, who were adopted from foster care, and together, they have a dog, Ruby. Plus, she and the girls continue to care for children in foster care too. Aimee loves spending time with her kids and with friends, being outdoors, walking the Town Lake trail, iced coffee, and her Peloton Bike.
