Embrace the chance to make a truly meaningful impact on a family by providing for urgent needs and letting them know they are not alone. We are now offering our community the opportunity to come alongside a particular family who has opened their hearts and homes to a child experiencing the welfare system. These are the families who have put their "yes" on the table and are doing the challenging day-to-day work of caring for children from hard places with histories of trauma. We are not all called to care for children, but we can all do something to help those who are.

Below, you will be able to select the size and type of family you'd like to support. We thank you for considering taking this step to truly impact a vulnerable family in Southwest Florida.

A foster family is a family who has volunteered to temporarily step in to raise children who have been removed from their home or whose parents are unable to care for them.

Kinship families are relatives such as aunts, uncles, grandparents, siblings, extended family, or fictive kin (those known to the family) that selflessly step in to care for children they know and love - often sibling sets, when the need for help arises. These families are often unprepared, unequipped, lacking resources, and not eligible for the same amount of assistance as foster families.

reunifying family is typically a single biological parent who has worked hard to achieve all steps necessary to regain stability in order to bring their child(ren) home. A lack of support is often the culprit for why parents struggle in caring for their chilren in the first place, so we aim to surround them with a village of support for increased chances of success upon reunification.

When you support a family, your monthly gift for one year will cover Welcome Packs for all children coming into their care. When this family has a need beyond Care Packs, such as a request for a mattress, car seat or a birthday party, you may be notified and given the option to provide for this need with absolutely no obligation to do so.

After 12 months, your continued support will help a new family who has welcomed children into their home, however you are welcome to stop your support at any time.
