Caring for kids from hard places does not have to be a journey you take alone. There are others just like you who understand what the journey is like and are here to be a community of support for you.

At Foster Village, we help bring this community together and provide fellowship, camaraderie, relief and resources for foster, kinship, and adoptive parents who need to know they are not alone.

We are so excited to be partnering with KidStrong in Fort Myers on Friday, September 13th for a special class just for children experiencing the welfare system! (Including children in foster, adoptive, or kinship care homes). REGISTER HERE!

What is KidStrong? From their website:
KidStrong is a science-based kids training program designed to help parents raise strong, confident, high-character kids. We incorporate movement and fun into the learning process, empowering kids to learn more effectively.

Our program focuses on characterphysical and brain development through weekly age-based classes.

Foster Village/KidStrong 4:15pm Class: Ages 14 months up to 3 years old as long as they're confidently walking. Guardian over age of 18 must be participating on the floor with them (socks only).

Foster Village/KidStrong 4:30 Class: Aages 4 through 11; caregivers can watch from viewing chairs.

Kids can wear anything they're comfortable in that you would wear to the playground; no shoes, no socks necessary for kids!

Everyone will need to sign a waiver when you arrive, so plan to arrive a few minutes early. If for any reason you need to cancel your registration, please come back to do so as we have very limited spaces available (*15 children per class).

Visit their website to learn more and watch some videos on what a typical class is like!
