Foster Village Launches in SWFL!
Foster Village SWFL hosted an Open House on March 24 for the community to tour their new Resource Center and HUB located in Collier County. Community members had the opportunity to learn more about this new nonprofit's mission and how they can come alongside to support local foster families in Southwest Florida. Fostser Village SWFL is founded by Heather Finocchiaro, a former foster parent and pediatric occupational therapist. Her family experienced firsthand the challenges that come from walking the journey of fostering teens and now want to help support others who are stepping in to care for children in their time of need. Foster Village SWFL began serving the foster care community with their first delivery to a foster mother on Friday, March 22, 2024.
