Hearten Parties by Foster Village
Local non-profit, Hearten Inc. has been dedicated to spreading joy and support to children in need by providing free birthday parties, while Foster Village SWFL is providing holistic support for children and families experiencing foster care by meeting urgent needs, providing educational and emotional support, and advocating as a collective community voice for children.
Hearten Inc. is merging with Foster Village SWFL to create a brand new program: "Hearten Parties by Foster Village SWFL."
This partnership will allow us to grow even larger and help more children and families in need. While we will continue our mission of celebrating birthdays and milestones for children in the child welfare system, we will now also be able to offer support beyond the system for children and caregivers.
Through this merger, we will provide a comprehensive range of programs and support for children in foster, kinship, adoptive, reunified biological families, and teens aging out of the system. This means more resources, more love, and more community support for those who need it most. Proceeds from Wish Upon A Star Princess Parties will be used to help fund free birthday parties for children in need.
